Jared Woods is Anchorage's top singer/songwriter, hands down. He is the second
nicest guy in town (behind Donnie Hill, lead singer for Rebel Blues). He plays more
than anyone I know, and it shows. He is more of a professional than the rest of us
put together. And he sings like a god-damn angel.

Sean Mormelo is so good at the guitar that it sucks for the rest of us. He can play
anything, can sing anything, and knows about 4,000,000 songs. If you get a chance
to see him, do it. The first time I saw him play, I went right home and started to
practice. He has made me a better player.

Mike Gorder has more natural lyric writing talent than anybody that I have ever
come across. You will never understand what I mean by this unless you spend some
time around him and watch him write. Mike belives in the "tourtured artist". He will
actually fuck his life up just to know what it's like....he say's it's the best way to get
songwriting material. Funny thing is, he is right....and it really works. Seriously,
Mike's writing is so good that I can't understand why he doesn't have a writing deal.

Marty Jones gets it. He understands better than anyone else what a song is
supposed to be. Marty, more than anyone, has shown me what a great song is. It's
not about the money, the girls, the partys....all the hype. With Marty it's about the
three minutes when a song can take over and change your life. If Marty Jones
recommends that you listen to a song, you better fuckin' do it. It might make you
a different person.
